This position is located in the Bureau of Global Public Affairs, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Research and Analytics. (GPA/RA)�GPA carries out the Secretary's mandate to articulate the foreign policy of the United States and to communicate with and engage audiences in the U.S. and globally. The incumbent serves a s Senior Advisor and technical consultant to senior management, with responsibility for a broad portfolio of communications programs and projects.�

• Packages and amplifies the data, insights, analytics, and communications recommendations, utilizing communication and analytical methods, to create and measure effective communications campaigns directed at foreign audiences abroad.


• Advises the Deputy Assistant Secretary and Research Analytics Office about evolving threats and opportunities to the Research & Analytics landscape and the Department's ability to effectively communicate therein.


• Develops, manages, and/or coordinates information and public diplomacy management initiatives in the GPA Bureau in areas of public policy communications.


• Represents the office, Bureau, and/or Department at high-level agency meetings and conferences related to strategic communications, research, and operational concepts.
